Management systems
ISO 45001 Systems Support.
We help you build the occupational health & safety management system ISO 45001 asks for, gap analysis, documentation, and internal readiness, and prepare you to go through external certification with confidence.
The problem
The safety work is happening. The system isn't.
Most businesses we meet already do a fair amount of safety work in practice, risk assessments get done, training happens, someone walks the site now and then. It just lives across scattered documents, personal habits, and one or two people's heads, rather than in a structured, repeatable system.
That's fine right up until a customer, insurer, or tender asks for ISO 45001 certification, or until the informal system quietly falls apart because the one person who held it together is on leave, or has left.

Process
How we get you to certification-ready.
Gap analysis against ISO 45001
We review your current safety practice against the standard's requirements and map out exactly what's already covered and what isn't.
Build the missing structure
Policy, objectives, roles, documented procedures, and an internal audit routine, built to fit how your business actually operates.
Internal audit & readiness check
We test the system from the inside, close out any weak points, and confirm it holds up before anyone external looks at it.
Support through external certification
We prepare you for the certification body's audit itself. The certification decision and the certificate come from that independent, accredited body, not from us.
How long this takes depends heavily on where you're starting from and the size of your organisation, there's no single timeline that fits every business. We'll give you a realistic view once the gap analysis is done.
Questions
About ISO 45001 Systems Support
No, ISO 45001 certification is voluntary under German law. Occupational safety obligations themselves are set by the Arbeitsschutzgesetz and related regulations regardless of certification. That said, customers, tenders, and insurers increasingly expect or require it, which is why many businesses pursue it even without a legal mandate.
No. Certification is carried out by an independent, accredited certification body through their own external audit. Frozenworks is not a certification body and cannot issue a certificate. Our role is to help you build a genuine management system and prepare you for that audit.
It depends heavily on your starting point and company size, how much of the required structure already exists informally, and how large and complex the organisation is. We'll give you a realistic view once we've completed the gap analysis, rather than a generic estimate up front.
No. We build on whatever safety practice you already have, however informal, existing risk assessments, training records, or ad hoc procedures all count as a starting point. You don't need a large safety function in place before we begin.
